Summary
Male Personal Assistant- Skelmersdale
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a male Personal Assistant to provide support to a young man to remain independent within his own home and the local community.
As a Personal Assistant, your duties will include providing verbal prompts to maintain daily structure. You will assist to implement therapy programmes. You will also support with travel and outdoor activities.
We are looking for a caring, proactive and motivated individual with a passion for supporting others.
You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience or knowledge of working within care essential. Joint working and communication with other professionals involved is essential. You must have a full UK driving licence for the role. You must be ok working in presence of dogs.
This is a part time position for 8 hours per week which is with an hourly rate of £11.44 plus 5.6 weeks paid annual leave and workplace pension scheme. Must be willing to undertake a DBS check if required – cost will be met by employer.
