Job Title: Higher Education Lecturer (FD/BA) - Community Public Health and Social Care

Faculty/Unit: University Centre

Hours: 17.5 hours/52.14 weeks per year

Status: Part Time/Permanent

Salary: £13,573 - £18,878 pro rata based on full time equivalent on £27,146 to £37,795 per annum (Salary points HS27 – HS38)

Calderdale College is seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Education Lecturer to provide a high-quality education programme to students within the Community and Social Care environment. We are seeking to appoint an outstanding practitioner who has the ability to deliver inspirational teaching and learning specifically within the Community and Social Care Sectors at BA and Foundation Level.
Reporting to the College Curriculum Area Leader the post holder will be responsible for the planning, delivery & assessment and course leadership of the programme. They will have a strong desire to encourage and motivate their students to learn.

With strong leadership, management & organisational skills in addition to a proven teaching background the candidate will be able to inspire, champion and develop students in the University Centre.
