Would you enjoy using your strategic skills and project management experience to establish a new programme of work bringing together stakeholders from across an ICS to deliver a collective approach to pharmacy workforce activity?

We are looking for an enthusiastic GPhC registered Pharmacy Professional to jointly lead the Nottingham and Nottinghamshire ICS Pharmacy Workforce Faculty, alongside an existing postholder, on a fixed term/secondment basis. The Pharmacy Faculty Programme Manager works within the Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Integrated Care System (NNICS) to lead, oversee and drive a programme of work to develop the Pharmacy workforce locally so that it meets the needs of the population for the future.

Typical work streams may include, pre and post registration cross-sector rotations, trainee placement expansion and sustainability, primary care role development, , advanced clinical practice (ACP) roles and leadership development.

The Pharmacy Workforce Faculty is part of the Nottingham and Nottinghamshire ICS Integrated Pharmacy and Medicines Optimisation Programme of works. The scope of the role is the whole of the system pharmacy workforce across all sectors. Whilst direct line management is to NUH, there will be a requirement to report at system level to the Medicines Optimisation and Pharmacy Board and wider ICS workforce governance structures to ensure that the project is in line with system strategy and plans.
