Summary
HGV Class 2 Road sweeper Driver
We are recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Road sweeper Driver to work for a local council based in Ilkeston
Experience of driving a similar vehicle is essential and ideally good area knowledge of Ilkeston and Long Eaton
For this vacancy you will need to have:
- Previous experience of working in a similar environment
- Good Area Knowledge
- A clean criminal record
- A "can do" attitude
Details: HGV Class 2 Road sweeper Driver -
- Salary: £13:02 per hour
- Working Hours are Monday to Friday, starting as early as 4am some days, or 7:30am other days
- 8 hour shifts
- Covering some weekends when required
- Location: Ilkeston
Role of a HGV Class 2 Road sweeper Driver
- Driving a HGV Class two Left-hand drive road sweeper
- Operate a sweeper truck to clean streets, parking lots, and other designated areas
- Drive the sweeper truck to assigned locations and follow a predetermined route
- Operate the sweeper equipment to effectively clean surfaces
- Empty and dispose of collected debris in designated areas
- Perform routine checks on the sweeper truck and equipment
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating the sweeper truck
- Ability to engage with the general public
