Post-CCT/Senior Fellow in Paediatric Respiratory Medicine

This is an exciting opportunity for doctors wishing to gain further experience in Paediatric respiratory medicine in a tertiary healthcare setting.

The successful candidate will join a dynamic and enthusiastic team supporting the clinical services within the Children’s hospital and will be expected and supported to contribute to research and audit within the department.

The department in Leicester is a RCPCH and GMC recognised training centre for PRM.

The Leicester Children’s Hospital, part of University Hospitals of Leicester NHS trust, provides paediatric services to the just over one million residents of Leicestershire and Rutland, and attracts patients from further afield. All the general and specialist services are centralised on the Leicester Royal Infirmary site. The Leicester Children’s Hospital currently manages around 130 beds and has a budget of over £35 Million. The Children’s Hospital team includes more than 50 consultants and sees 13 000 new out-patients annually. The Children’s Hospital manages 3000 daycase patients and 12 000 emergency patients annually. The Children’s Hospital forms part of UHL’s Women and Children’s Clinical Management Group (CMG).
