Summary
We are seeking a dedicated, hardworking individual to join our small team. The role will be based on our family robotic dairy farm of 120 head high yielding HF herd plus youngstock. Based in Hoveringham, Nottinghamshire. Full training will be given for our operation.
Responsibilities include:
All aspects of animal husbandry
Routine vet visits
Vet & Med record keeping
Operation of general farm equipment
Maintenance and every day robot routines – full training will be given
AI & foot trimming experience an advantage
Qualifications & Skills
No formal qualifications are required, although livestock farming experience would be preferable.
Attention to detail
Excellent communication skills
Ability to use a PC essential
Schedule:
10 hour shifts
10 days on, 4 days off (alternate weekends off)
