About the Role:

As an Exam Invigilator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and fair administration of examinations within our institution. You will be responsible for upholding the integrity of the examination process, enforcing exam regulations, and providing a supportive environment for candidates to perform at their best.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up examination venues in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
• Check candidate identification and ensure adherence to exam regulations before, during, and after the exam.
• Distribute exam papers and materials to candidates and collect completed scripts at the end of the exam.
• Monitor candidates during exams to prevent cheating or misconduct, while also providing necessary assistance or accommodations as required.
• Handle any disruptions or emergencies that may arise during the exam and report incidents to appropriate authorities.
• Maintain accurate records of exam attendance, incidents, and irregularities for documentation and review purposes.

About You:

• Proven experience as an Exam Invigilator or similar role, preferably in an educational or testing environment is ideal.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions and procedures meticulously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with candidates, staff, and examiners.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations with tact and diplomacy.
• Reliability and punctuality, with the flexibility to work during exam periods, including evenings and weekends.
• Familiarity with exam regulations and protocols, including those related to security, confidentiality, and access arrangements.
• Commitment to upholding academic integrity and fairness in the examination process.
