Job Duties:
• Plan and deliver engaging and interactive lessons in Music and Drama
• Assess and evaluate student progress, providing feedback for improvement
• Organise and oversee extracurricular activities related to performing arts
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and enhance teaching methods
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance
Required Qualifications:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS)
• Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) in Music or Drama
• Experience teaching Performing Arts subjects at secondary level
Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
• Degree in Music, Drama, or related field
• Demonstrated passion for the performing arts and teaching
• Strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum for Music and Drama
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• Additional certifications or training in Music or Drama education
• Experience working with diverse student populations
• Participation in continuing professional development related to performing arts education
