Stirling Council seeks to appoint a highly motivated and innovative professional to lead Thornhill Primary School and Kincardine in Menteith Primary School.
Thornhill Primary School currently has a roll of 70 children across Primary 1 to Primary 7. The roll in Kincardine in Menteith is currently 39 children across Primary 1 to Primary 7.
Both schools have a strong and inclusive school ethos and engage fully in their communities. Learning experiences are motivating and engaging, and outdoor learning is embraced. You will lead these two small rural primary schools. This is an exciting opportunity requiring strong leadership, excellent communication skills and a thorough knowledge of current educational developments. You will be committed to delivering excellence and equity by sustaining school improvement, promoting high quality learning and teaching, supporting health and wellbeing and raising achievement and attainment for all learners. Stirling’s culture of self-evaluation in schools and nurseries means that you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with talented, reflective and skilled professionals.
