Ideal candidate

The successful SEND Teacher must have QTS or QTLS and have experience of teaching SEND pupils, particularly with ASC/Autism and SLD/PMLD. Many pupils have Speech and Language Communication Needs (SLCN) and will use alternative communication methods such as Makaton and PECs. You will be teaching whole class lessons, working with small groups and supporting pupils individually. Due to the nature of the students, a patient, caring, compassionate and flexible approach is needed. Fully qualified mainstream teachers with an interest in moving into SEND are also encouraged to apply.
