Summary
Student Engagement Mentor - Fareham
Engage Education are currently working in partnership with an all through school on an exciting new student engagement mentor position specifically to support learners with SEMH and associated Complex Needs in the Fareham area.
Starting immediately, the school is looking for outstanding mentors to join them on a temp to perm basis.
Your Role:

Supporting learners on a one-to-one basis often with complex learning needs

The School:
This is an independent special school for children aged 7 to 16 who have social, emotional and mental health difficulties, and associated complex needs.
This is a small and nurturing school, with a heavy emphasis on intervention, creative learning and targeted support. This role will be very classroom based, supporting students on a 1:1 or small group basis. It is a very calm environment with low levels of challenging behaviour, with many of the students having a diagnosis of anxiety and/or trauma and attachment.
