Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Part-Time SEN Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialized support and instruction to students with special educational needs, ensuring they have access to a tailored curriculum that meets their individual learning requirements. As an SEN Teacher, you will work collaboratively with other educators, support staff, and parents to create and implement individualised education plans (IEPs), monitor student progress, and adapt teaching strategies to meet evolving needs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special educational needs.
- Deliver differentiated instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
- Provide ongoing assessment and feedback to monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and parents to create a supportive learning environment for students with SEN.
- Utilise a variety of teaching techniques and resources to engage and motivate students.

Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification.
- Specialisation or experience in special education or SEN teaching.
- Strong understanding of various special educational needs and strategies for supporting students with diverse needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and external professionals.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the academic and holistic development of students with special educational needs.
- Commitment to inclusive education and creating a positive and supportive learning environment for all students.
