As a Room Leader, your responsibilities will include:
• Stimulating the children with activities, to encourage them to learn
• Safeguarding and promoting the health, safety, and welfare of the children
• Supporting colleagues and making sure all regulations are followed
• Identifying and acting on opportunities for career progression within the team
• Room based role
We’re looking for Room Leader with the following skills and experience:
• Ideally a level 2 or 3 qualification in childcare & 1-2 years' experience in a nursery setting
• Knowledge of EYFS statutory requirement (Early Years Foundation Stage)
• Valid DBS (update service) or willing to complete one
• SEND experience desirable, but not essential
• Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding and Food and Hygiene certificates beneficial
• The ability to commute daily
In return, the successful Room Leader will receive an hourly rate of between £11.45 - £13.50 per hour plus the following benefits…
