Summary
We are currently recruiting for a Highways Operative to work in a carriageway patching gang, laying by hand 10 - 20 Tonne of bitmac per day.
* You will working in a highly mechanised operation a Cat CE full driving Licence would be essential and plant driving experience or certification (NPORS or similar) for any one of roller, Bobcat Skidsteer, and road planer would be desirable.
* Ability to rake tar would be advantageous but not essential and must have own transport to get to Depot or site.
* May be required to work from other depots at Bishop Auckland, Chilton or Wolsingham as occasional holiday cover etc.
