Summary

Are you an experienced Electrically biased Maintenance Engineer looking to join an industry leading organisation? Do you prefer to work a twilight shift and are a bit of a night owl?

Here at Coats we are excited to have the opportunity to recruit for multiple Maintenance Engineers for the night shift working 4 on 4 off rotating pattern. You will be joining a multi award winning business that have several manufacturing facilities around the UK. Working alongside some extremely talented individuals you will have the opportunity to bring your knowledge and experience to the table to continuously strengthen what is already a 50+ engineering department. Position based in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire

What we require from you...

Be apprentice trained ideally to either HNC/HND level or equivalent and be able to demonstrate use of good electrical controls - PLC's, contactors, relays etc.
Although the successful candidate is required to be electrically bias it is important that you have a good working knowledge within the Mechanical field.
Having previously worked within a Food/FMCG environment is essential.
Given that the position is on a night shift there will be fewer engineers on site so having the ability to work on your own is key along with in small teams.

A day in the life as an Engineer on site...

Diagnose faults and carry out remedial works to required standards
Propose improvements during PPM activities to improve outputs and reliability of machines.
Attend PIT meetings on manufacturing lines to drive an increase in OEE which will help the production teams on site.
Attend breakdowns and file reports on works in hand.
Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
