Summary
Blackpool Teaching Hospitals are looking for highly motivated and committed Band 5 Staff Nurses to work on the Acute Stroke and Rehab Unit.
To work as a registered nurse within a ward team within the Unscheduled Care Division.
To prioritise and deliver nursing care and assessment as needed.
We are highly focused upon your education, and we have specialist stroke training programmes available in-house as well as external courses. Commitment to undertake ongoing in-service training and development is essential. You should be motivated, keen to learn and ready to embrace change; our commitment to you is to provide the environment for this to happen.
We are focused on the care that our patients receive, and that their carers are given the opportunity to be involved in a range of patient educational activities. This will be supported by the Specialist stroke team.
Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is situated on the west coast of Lancashire, and offers a full range of district hospital services and community health services to this population.
