Summary

Morson Talent are currently recruiting for an Administrator to work on the behalf of one of our reputable Aerospace clients based in Yeovil, Somerset. This role is a Permanent Position.

JOB PURPOSE

• To assist the Senior Administrator with the development, implementation and ‘steady state’ administration functions within the Wildcat Training Centre (WTC), including reception activities. The Administrator will also support the WTC Management in the monitoring and generation of monthly project budgetary status reports.


MAIN ACTIVITIES AND TASKS

• To fully assist the Training Service Delivery Manager (TSM) and Chief Instructor (CI) with the achievement of all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• To support the WTC Management in the generation of monthly spend reports against forecast for the WIST contract within the department.
• Provides administrative support for the WTC Management. To include, but not limited to, WTC performance reporting, amendments and upkeep of H&S documentation, travel & subsistence facilitation and routine administration of personnel/security forms,
• To fulfil the role of receptionist, when required.
• Assist the planning office in the preparation and distribution of Joining Instructions for all courses and attendees.
• Administer the supply of office and classroom consumables.
• Support WTC Management in the production and update of the training delivery course schedules.
• Liason with Air Station departments for the purposes of security, IT services (MODNet), works services and station visits.


REPORTING:

• To assist with pre and post course documentation and reporting within defined timescales when required.
• Generate monthly spend reports and present to WTC Management.


TRAINING SERVICE:

• To deputise for the Senior Administrator, during absentia,
• To undertake secondary tasks as required by line management, including, but not limited to, supporting visits. Such duties will be related to or will enhance the Wildcat Training Service provided to the Authority.
• To support the invigilation of formative & summative exams, when tasked.


KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• PC literacy with competence in all Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Project, Excel, Visio. An understanding of SAP within the schedule, cost and financial analysis fields.
• Some experience within a financial/budgetary department
• Ability to work unsupervised and apply leadership, to achieve demanding deadlines.
• Desire to maintain ‘Best Practice’ with determination to develop effective and efficient administrative functions, to the highest quality and standards, in support of a groundbreaking Training Service.
• Hold a full driving license for cars as the minimum.
• Experience of working within a training/learning establishment, with knowledge of the internal and external processes and procedures required to enable such a service.
• Ability to communicate effectively with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Experience of dealing with a range of customers, both internal and external.

DIMENSIONS

• The Administrator must be prepared to attend courses for personal development and instruction in new equipment, away from site if necessary. They will be further required to support the distribution of that knowledge to staff within the WTC, acting as an SME if required.
• The Administrator works to the Senior Administrator who is the line manager for all training delivery activities.
• The Administrator is required to ensure a close working relationship with the Course Planners to maintain an effective and efficient administrative function within the WTC is achieved and maintained.
