Summary

Currently, we are seeking enthusiastic and skilled Gardener Drivers to join our team. If you have a passion for outdoor work and grounds maintenance, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out a range of cleansing and grounds maintenance activities in parks, green spaces, highways, allotments, and housing estates.
Drive a vehicle up to 7.5t GVM and/or operate ride-on groundcare machinery, adhering to Fleet Management Policies and Procedures and legal requirements.
Adhere to Health and Safety, HR, Equality and Diversity, and Customer Care policies and procedures.
Perform general grounds maintenance tasks such as litter picking, leaf clearance, weed removal, and graffiti removal.
Conduct grass cutting, hedge trimming, path edging, and other landscaping tasks.
Clean and maintain public facilities such as toilets, changing rooms, and pavilions.
Requirements:

Knowledge:

Understanding of safe operation of ride-on mowing equipment.
Familiarity with personal and team health and safety responsibilities.
NVQ level 2 or equivalent in amenity horticulture or relevant grounds maintenance qualification.
PA1 & PA6 licence in the Safe Use and Application of Pesticides.
Experience:

Minimum of 3 years' experience in grounds maintenance, grass cutting, horticulture, or related fields.
Experience with vehicle and machinery checks and maintenance.
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
Leadership experience preferred.
Skills and Abilities:

Physically fit and able to lift weights up to 25 kg.
Literate and numerate with the ability to understand and complete compliance forms.
Trailer licence and/or licence to drive vehicles up to 7.5t.
Excellent customer service skills.

Ability to work independently and flexibly across various sites.
Willingness to adapt to seasonal needs and tasks.
