As the largest independent provider of NHS services, Practice Plus Group is delivering a new model of Integrated Urgent Care that reduces pressures on services and staff. By bringing together NHS 111 call centres, clinical assessment and other urgent care services, we enable patients to access the right care, when they need it. Its better for everyone. As a Bank Driver, youll chauffeur GPs and nurses to and from patients homes typically when theyre unable to see their usual clinician. This is not an emergency service and you will need to follow all the normal rules of the road. It will be part of your role to ensure the safety of our clinicians and medical equipment, so you may be asked to escort them to the patients front door. Youll also be expected to keep vehicles appropriately maintained, and at times youll need to communicate with the public, as well as the team back at base. This is a permanent part time role for shifts covering 8am - 6pm Saturday and Sunday on the 3rd weekend of our 4 week rota.
