Summary
We are currently looking to recruit 2 x Civil Enforcement Officer’s to join our team across South Tyneside.
Duties Of Role:
* Responsible for patrolling South Tyneside in areas where parking restrictions are in place.
* Providing a good customer service, representing the Council, using a handheld device, printer and Body Worn Camera.
* Staff are expected to issue Penalty Charge Notices to non-compliant vehicles, check for parking articles such as permits, blue badges etc.
* Evidence gathering is required, computer skills, using an integrated camera and note taking skills are also required.
* Staff will be expected to patrol in all weathers and mostly on foot. However a full driving licence is required.
* This vacancy is 5 days out of 7 days, with two shift patterns on a rotational basis. 8am-4.30pm and 11.30am -8.00pm.
* Weekend work and bank holiday work is required, this however will be on a rota basis.
The Candidate:
* Must be willing to under go a DBS Check.
* Must hold a full, clean UK driving license.
* Must be physically fit as the role involves walking around South Shields
* Must have good customer skills
* Must be able to meet the rota requirements.
