Summary
Our clients are currently seeking a passionate and inspirational Nursery Manager to join their amazing team in Whitburn.
They are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic and dedicated individual to take advantage of this exciting opportunity. The successful candidate will have to demonstrate a genuine passion for providing the highest standards in quality Early Childhood provision - strong communication skills and team-working abilities are essential.
Working under the guidance of a highly experienced Senior Team and forward thinking Early Years Director, you will have the opportunity to develop the nursery further and establish a truly OUTSTANDING setting.
The successful candidate must have a good understanding of:
- Children's development needs and individual learning styles.
- The importance of supporting children's transitions
- The importance of maintaining professionalism and confidentiality
- The importance of supporting your team's personal well-being and professional development
- The need to help children respect people of different race, ability, gender, religion and culture
- The importance of procedures to follow regarding Safeguarding children
Qualifications & Training:
BA in childcare or working towards it.
Experience:
Minimum 10 years Early Childhood experience with 3+ years in previous leadership role essential.
Knowledge and skills:
- Realising the Ambition and Curriculum for Excellence
- Planning, observations & assessment
- Critical Thinking & Creativity
- Up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulations and frameworks.
- Self-regulation and Wellbeing
