ull Job description

We’re looking for a dynamic pharmacist to join busy on-site hospital pharmacy. Reporting directly to the pharmacy manager, the post-holder will be required to dispense prescribed medication and provide general advice to patients. This key department is required to work collaboratively with treating consultant and other members of clinical staff.

Duties and responsibilities

1. Main Duties Maintaining superb clinical standards in pharmacy.
2. Providing medicines information assistance to consultants.
3. Providing an excellent level of customer service to all patients.
4. Contributing to excellent level of record keeping.
5. Contributing to care of controlled drug storage in pharmacy and hospital
6. Ensuring that practice within the pharmacy is in line with latest guidelines.
7. Aiding the pharmacy manager with all daily running’s of the pharmacy.
8. Communication

Requirements:

1. GPhC Registered Pharmacist
2. At least 2 years NHS experience
3. Ward based experience (drug history, medicines reconciliation, clinical screening, TTA screening)
4. EPMA experience
5. Right to live and work in the UK
