Summary
Position: Store Person
Location: Poole
Type of work: permanent
Salary: £25000 to 27898 per annum
Hours of work: 37 hours per week Monday to Friday
We are now seeking to recruit a Store Person to work as part of the stores team you will assist in ensuring parts are accurately received, located. and when required delivery/collection of parts.
Store Person Duties
Unload deliveries in a safe manner.
Control raw materials storage and issue, booking goods from suppliers and review incoming delivery certificates.
Liaising with management about deliveries and discrepancies in stock
Keeping detailed records of shortages and spares of items
Updating inventory management systems regularly
Forklift truck driving duties when required (counterbalance)
Requirements:
Previous goods in experience
Ideally experience in automotive or aerospace or engineering stores environment.
Works well as part of a team
Valid forklift license advantageous (training will be given to the suitable candidate)
Good verbal communication skills
Good organizational abilities and be able to work with minimum supervision
Good communication skills with all personnel
