Summary
Straffords Coaches are seeking to employ enthusiastic and experienced drivers for their fleet of coaches on a full time or part time basis. You must hold a current PCV licence and CPC card and will be operating a mixed fleet from 29 seats to 70 seat vehicles. Weekend work will be required and occasional late night working.
Duties to include private hire, school contracts, college contracts, tours.
Duties will include cleaning the interior and exterior of their vehicles.
Naturally, safety is paramount and you will operate within legal requirements such as tachographs, driver hours regulations, this will also include ensuring all vehicle defects and any incidents are reported in line with the company procedures.
Good communication and people skills are of vital importance, both with the public and within the team.
Drivers must hold a Category D 'PCV' Licence & Driver CPC (DQC CARD)
Drivers must be willing to apply for a DBS (formally crb) check periodically.
Drivers will be required to apply for a Digital Tachograph card if you are not already in receipt of one
