Company Overview:
An exciting new opportunity has arisen for an experienced sewing machinist/seamstress to join a small, friendly interiors team to make a range of soft furnishings for a leading flooring and interiors package contractor who supply and install to the new house build sector. The successful candidate will ideally have experience in working with a variety of fabrics in the manufacture of a range of high quality curtains, blinds and soft furnishings.
Key Duties & Responsibilities for This Role:
Supporting the interiors team in the making of curtains, blinds and soft furnishings for the new house build sector
Working as part of a busy team in a fast-paced environment
Working to daily deadlines
Essential Skills and Experience Required:
Creative with a keen eye for detail and accuracy in all work
Experience in a similar role with flat machine, overlocker and blind hemmer
Able to work accurately and to a high standard
Able to work to meet daily deadlines
Flexible in approach
Confidence to work in a fast-paced environment
Organised and able to keep the workroom tidy at all times
Schedule:
Monday to Friday 37.75 hours per week, immediate interview & start date available - APPLY NOW!
