This role is for Adult and Children Student Nurses and Medical Students

Are you an experienced and qualified Healthcare Support Worker?

Would you like to work at an NHS trust that is committed to ensuring your ongoing development and training of a wide range of clinical skills and knowledge?

In order to undertake this role you must have:

- You must have at least six months experience working within a healthcare setting within the past 12 months.

- You must have a minimum of an NVQ level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care or GCSE A*- D in English/ Math's or equivalent.

- You must be able to work a minimum of 2 shifts, in a rolling 3 month period and remain compliant with all essential training, to remain in post

- Please note you will be expected to do 5 days of induction within a week period

As a Healthcare Support Worker you will play an essential role in supporting the delivery of the highest standard of quality care to our patients, working alongside registered nurses and other healthcare professionals. Your role will include a wide range of tasks, from providing personal and intimate care to undertaking clinical observations. A Healthcare Support Worker will be competent to provide compassionate care to agreed quality standards.

You will be required to follow stringent policies such as infection control and manual handling policies, and keep your clinical and non-clinical colleagues informed of outcomes. In addition you will be providing emotional and practical support to patient & their families. You will require an adaptable and flexible approach to enable you to adapt to situations that change quickly.

At UHBW we are currently recruiting for Experienced Bank Healthcare Support Workers to join our trust.

We ask that you have at least 6 months experience working, within a healthcare setting, within the last 12 months
