As a Domestic Assistant you will become a member of the Rapid Response cleaning team. You will provide a high quality service working either individually or as part of a team to ensure a clean and safe environment is maintained for patients, staff and visitors.

Shifts available:

Monday - Friday 12.00 - 20.00

Monday - Friday 14.00 - 22.00

Thursday - Friday 22.00 - 06.00

• To provide a high standard of cleaning within clinical and non-clinical areas reducing the risk of infections by following agreed work schedules, methods and procedures in accordance with the National Standards of Cleanliness.
• Operating cleaning equipment, machinery in accordance with manufacturer's instructions.
• Disposal of waste in accordance with the Trust Waste Policy.
• Accurate completion of all required documentation to support specific service processes , eg Terminal cleans.

• To perform cleaning and other associated task in any ward, department, operating theatre, laboratory, corridor, catering area, office or residential accommodation as may be required and shall include all or any of the under mentioned tasks, which may include working as a team member
• To ensure the highest possible standard of cleanliness is achieved and complying with the National Standards of Cleanliness, and the local Infection Control Policy within given areas to minimise the risk of cross infection for staff, patients and members of the public within Trust premises.
• Undertake deep clean/isolation cleans following national and local guidelines
