Summary
We have a new job vacancy for a Pig Stockperson on a farm in Devon (EX15).
The progressive pig business requires a pig stockperson to join their team on one of their breeding-to-weaning units.
The ideal candidate will have good pig knowledge, self-motivation and drive, and a desire to achieve.
Primary responsibilities in their weekly system involve serving, dry sow work, and farrowing-house work.
We are specifically looking for someone who can demonstrate:
Excellent attention to detail and diligence
Good sow husbandry skills
High passion for animal welfare
Self-driven attributes
This position would give the successful applicant an excellent opportunity to extend their experience in the pig sector.
There is potential to progress within this growing business.
Salary Guide: £30,000 + (DOE) plus housing.
Hours: Approx. 7 am – 5 pm, plus 10 hours over the weekend every other weekend.
