If this is the type of workload you are seeking and you are an adaptable and self-motivated individual, come and join our established, 6 strong in-house legal team in Oxford, where you will have opportunities to develop your legal skills and knowledge in areas of law new to you as well as undertaking detailed research and drafting in more familiar areas.

The legal advice our team provides covers all aspects of Brookes’ £216m business activities and, as Brookes must act within its statutory remit and exempt charitable status, the breadth of the workload is truly unique and rewarding. This is a full-time permanent role.

As a Senior Lawyer you should:
- be a qualified Solicitor or Barrister, with a current practising certificate
- have significant post-qualification experience with similar work
- have the ability to work under pressure without compromising professionalism or optimism
- be adaptable and positive and have a solution-based approach to legal work.
