You will be joining a team which strives for excellence in service delivery and works well with partners.

You will be working within the Housing Investment Team, assisting the Housing Investment Manager and will be responsible for work streams relating to the Housing Capital programme including condition surveys, shared costs repairs, insurance works and customers, contractors and budgets relating to these. Most importantly you will be coordinating the Scottish Housing Quality Standard (SHQS) and Energy Efficiency Standard for Social Housing (EESSH) assets information to aid development of future programmes.

You will contribute to programmes of work and assist with the delivery of property investment projects in relation to the housing capital programme within the council’s asset management framework and you will have responsibility for programming, co-ordination and monitoring of condition survey programmes, asset information and database management and all related work streams to ensure robust asset management of council housing stock.

This permanent role represents an exciting and challenging opportunity for a highly motivated individual. With a professional manner and excellent communication skills, you should be able to work to deadlines and possess a sound technical knowledge of housing, Technical Standards and building contracts.
