Summary
Mitie have an exciting opportunity for a Cleaner to join one of our teams in Plymouth, working at one of our key customers sites, based in the Ernesettle area.
The successful candidate would be working as part of our day-shift team, working 6am until 2pm, Monday-to-Friday.
-37.5 hours per week
-Monday-to-Friday
-6am until 2pm
-£11.44 per hour, paid monthly on 11th of each month
-20 days holiday per year exc. Bank Holidays
General cleaning duties working within a factory environment such as mopping, vacuuming, cleaning of kitchens and toilets, use of cleaning machinery such as scrubber dryers etc. and responding to call-outs.
Previous cleaning experience working within a similar setting would be beneficial, but full training will be provided.
In your new role as a Cleaning Operative you will ensure equipment is kept clean, well maintained and in safe working order and meeting all agreed SLAs. Build your knowledge and understanding of the designated cleaning area, when the work needs to be carried out and all cleaning equipment and chemicals used on the premises while following Health and Safety requirements. You will need to undertake successfully all training required to deliver the cleaning role. You will be required to work within a team and can work under their own initiative. You will need to build positive and productive working relationships with all customers, delivery excellent customer service and seeking ways to continuously improve and exceed expectations.
