Description
We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented professional to join our team as an Income Management Officer. As an Income Management Officer, you will play a vital role in managing and analyzing our organization's income to ensure financial stability and growth. Responsibilities
Monitor and analyze our organization's income streams, including grants, donations, and program fees.
Develop and implement strategies to maximize income generation and identify new funding opportunities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain accurate financial forecasts and budgets.
Conduct regular financial assessments to identify any discrepancies or potential risks.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Prepare and present reports on income trends, financial performance, and opportunities for improvement to senior management.
Oversee the invoicing and payment collection processes, ensuring timely and accurate revenue recognition.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to build and maintain positive relationships and partnerships.
Support the development and implementation of fundraising campaigns and initiatives.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve income management processes and procedures.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
Proven experience in income management or a similar role.
Strong knowledge of financial principles and best practices.
Proficient in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in using financial management software and tools.
Knowledge of fundraising principles and strategies is preferred.
Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements is a plus.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
