Summary
Title: HGV Driver / LGV Moffett Driver The Best Connection are recruiting for experienced CLASS 2 DRIVERS with MOFFETT LICENCE to join our well-established team based in Preston.
Requirements of the driver: Valid Moffett licence No more than 6 penalty points on your licence (no IN, DD, DR, or DG endorsements) An up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph Excellent communication skills and ability to work on your own initiative. May be some elements of handball involved. Multi drop deliveries around the North-West. Day to day role includes: Conduct thorough checks on the vehicle and maintain the appropriate temperature levels to ensure the safe delivery of all goods. Conduct pre and after-use vehicle checks in line with company policy. Keep a close eye on vehicle defects and wear and tear and report them promptly. Ensure that all documentation is filled out accurately and submitted on time. Follow all required safety policies and procedures. Pay Rate & Hours: Up to £16.00 per hour depending on experience - 8 hours minimum paid. We are looking for drivers who are willing to start between 0700-0800, however all drivers need to be flexible to meet the requirements of the business.
