Currently, we are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Community Hub Development Worker for a 12-month contract.

**Role Overview:**
As a Community Hub Development Worker, you will play a pivotal role in the establishment and growth of our community hub. This multifaceted role involves engaging with stakeholders, coordinating activities, and facilitating partnerships to ensure the hub becomes a focal point for community cohesion and development. You will be at the forefront of creating a welcoming and inclusive space where individuals from all backgrounds feel valued and supported.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Collaborate with community members, local organizations, and authorities to identify needs and opportunities for the community hub.
- Develop and implement strategies to promote the hub's services and activities to the wider community.
- Organize and facilitate events, workshops, and programs that cater to diverse interests and demographics.
- Recruit, train, and coordinate volunteers to assist with hub operations and activities.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the hub, including administration, facility maintenance, and resource allocation.
- Establish and nurture partnerships with external organizations, businesses, and funders to secure resources and support for hub initiatives.
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of hub activities, collecting feedback from stakeholders to inform future planning and development.

**Person Specification:**
- A genuine passion for community development and a commitment to promoting social inclusion and cohesion.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong organizational abilities, with experience in project management and event coordination.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Flexibility and adaptability to respond to changing needs and priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of community development principles and experience working within community settings is desirable but not essential.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and willingness to learn new technologies as required.
