Summary

About The Role
Morrison Water Services, part of MGroup Services is currently looking to recruit a Project Manager to work on our Caledonia Water Alliance contract based out of our Stepps office.
As a Project Manager with Morrison Water Services, you'll be able part of our Clean Water Project Team and will be able to lead a Project from engagement to completion and be accountable for many aspects of the delivery, ensuring that all activity is planned and executed to the highest standards and in accordance with the CWA and Scottish Water requirements.
Caledonia Water Alliance (a partnership between Aecom and Morrison Water Services to support the delivery of the Scottish Water Capital Investment programme) are responsible for delivery of the water infrastructure programme pan Scotland.
As a Project Manager your duties & responsibilities will include:

- Running a portfolio of projects from initial scope through delivery to close down.
- Work closely with the commercial team to set project LBE / Target Cost and manage project risk.
- Regularly liaise with design team is progressed to support programme requirements.
- Ensure resources are identified, sourced & available for delivery of the projects.
- Maximise programme opportunities to reduce time on site.
- Set productivity stretch targets with delivery management teams.

- Carry out monthly forecasting and expenditure through project life cycle.
- Support project delivery to meet key milestones and report to Scottish Water.
- Communicate effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative technical solutions.
- Project management of the principal subcontracts.
- Maintain strong relationships between Scottish Water & CWA management team.
- Maintain strong relationships with the wider CWA functions to support projects delivery.
- Deliver Scottish Water & CWA aligned investment targets.
- Ensure defects are identified, recorded and closed off timeously.
- Lead incident investigations in conjunction with CWA SHEQ Team.

Skills & Knowledge Requirements

- Degree/HND/HNC or equivalent in construction management or engineering.
- Water industry experience preferred.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Effective track record in managing construction teams and front-line managers.
- Proven track record in delivering efficiency savings.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Proven stakeholder and customer management skills
- Ability to work to tight timescales and prioritise work efficiently.
- Appreciation of health and safety legislation
