Summary
NT Traders Ltd, trading as The Car Traders, is a well-established used car dealer dedicated to providing top-quality vehicles and exceptional customer service. As part of our ongoing expansion, we are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Paint Technician to join our team at our Romford location.
Main duties include:
- Apply paint to vehicles using various methods, including spray guns, brushes, and rollers, ensuring a flawless and uniform finish.
- Skillfully match paint colors to the manufacturer's specifications and customer preferences, maintaining a high level of precision and accuracy.
- Prepare vehicle surfaces for painting by sanding, priming, and masking, addressing any imperfections or damage to achieve a smooth and durable coating.
- Conduct thorough inspections of painted surfaces to identify and address any defects, ensuring the highest standard of quality in the finished product.
- Collaborate with the Panel Beater and other team members to coordinate and streamline the repair and painting process, ensuring efficiency and timely completion.
Skills and Education:
- Proven one year experience as a Paint Technician in the automotive industry.
- In-depth knowledge of paint application techniques, color matching, and surface preparation.
- Strong attention to detail and an eye for color and design.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tasks.
- Certification or relevant training in automotive painting is preferred.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to paint application in automotive repair.
