Façade Designer / Draughtsperson

Reporting to a director this opportunity requires a professional experienced in façade design, producing drawings and details for both new build and refurbishment projects. They are a façade consultancy who deliver bespoke services to their clients across the UK and overseas, often of a prestigious nature.
The role will require you to produce details of façade systems based on architectural sketches, developing GA drawings, detail drawings and material schedules whilst working closely with the engineering team. Alongside this there will be opportunities to attend site visits, carrying out surveys on the new build projects, recladding and renovation projects and all associated report writing.
To be considered for the role, ideally you will have a degree in Architectural technology, although HNC/HND in engineering is also of great interest, along with experience within the UK façade industry or related field, a substantial part of which is in design.
Good computer skills are a must, specifically AutoCAD 2D/3D.
