We are looking for somebody to support a 10 year old boy for 2 hours in term time and 4 hours in the academic holidays. The support would be required on weekday evening and weekends, however this will be flexible and further discussed at interview.
He is non verbal and uses Makaton and signs to communicate.
He is very energetic and loves to run about in the park, go to the beach and visit jump 360 and flamingo land.
He also likes to go to McDonald's but would need his iPad and headphones if it is busy due to the noise.
He may on occasion need support with toileting if he has an accident whilst out in the community.
A driver with their own vehicle is essential and fuel costs would be reimbursed.
Successful candidates would be subject to an enhanced DBS check, cost to be met by the employer.
