Joining us in Lending Operations, you’ll lead your function to create a culture of continuous improvement and operational change, through great people leadership, coaching, engagement and development of skills
You’ll be driving the engagement of people across your function, stakeholders and partners, through inspirational leadership and performance management, as well as providing operational leadership across multiple or hybrid locations
What you'll do
As a Simple Lending Unit Lead, you’ll be leading your team to success with strong people and resource management. You’ll maintain a focus on customer service, optimising capacity, reducing costs and increasing productivity while reducing operational losses and errors.
We’ll also look to you to maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support our customers with their lending needs.
You’ll also be:
Developing, coaching and empowering clear, capable and motivated teams
Driving process improvements designed to improve the customer experience and increase efficiency and capability
Driving and measuring function and colleague performance to recognise success and identify and address development areas
Making sure that the principles of treating customers fairly and service excellence are embedded in the culture, policy and processes of the function
Providing fair outcomes to customers across multiple processes and teams, and identifying improvements and plans where required
The skills you'll need
We’re looking for someone with experience in an operational environment and strong people management skills, with the ability to successfully engage and motivate teams to succeed. Alongside this, you’ll have a good understanding of people processes and policies.
You’ll also need:
Operational experience, in a leadership role
An understanding of the industry and its customers
An understanding of relevant risk, compliance and legal issues
Experience of Agile working
