MECHANICAL/ELECTRICAL ENGINEERS WANTED
PERMANENT ROLE
We are excited to be recruiting Mechanical and/or electrical engineers to join our clients team, at a modern facility based in BARTON.
Pay: DAYS - Up to £41k per annum (dependant on experience) AFTERS - Up to £43k per annum (dependant on experience) Shifts available: Days - 7.30am-6pm, 6am-4.30pm, Mon-Thurs, Tues-Fri rotating Afters - 3.00pm-1.30am, Mon-Thurs, Tues-Fri rotating Main Responsibilities: To carry out planned and reactive maintenance. Providing rapid response to breakdowns when required Fault finding, trouble shooting and maintaining, repairing conveyor systems, equipment and plant using all engineering disciplines to ensure minimum lost production time To follow up any faults picked up on PPMs. Ensure engineering standards are maintained to maximize the operation effectiveness and reliability of the factory and associated systems. To assist specialist subcontractors requirements both for PPM and reactive works. To ensure company QA and site procedures are adhered to in all aspects. Ensure Company & Site, Health & Safety procedures are always followed. Keep and maintain all company issued tools in a safe and serviceable manner. To proactively work towards the continued success and support of the business with a can-do attitude. Complete any other associated task requested by the management. Ensure that workstations are kept tidy and well maintained Desired skills & knowledge: Minimum Level 3 qualification in mechanical engineering and relevant experience Experience on both compressed air and hydraulic systems PLC Qualification An ability to work well under pressure Good verbal and written communication skills. Excellent technical skills and knowledge. Problem solving skills. Team working skills. To think on your own initiative. Self-motivated.
