The Supporter Acquisition Executive is an exciting role providing the opportunity to gain a solid understanding of all aspects of charity individual giving and mass marketing, both online and offline. The purpose of the role is to acquire new cash and regular giving supporters to the Salvation Army using marketing tools such as traditional cold mail, TV, Radio, Press, Inserts and Digital channels such as Meta and Google.
This role will form part of the Individual Giving Section (IGS). This team is part of the Marketing & Fundraising Department and is made up of two units, Acquisition and Retention. IGS is responsible for raising £50M annually.
You will…

Support the Assistant Head and Acquisition Campaign Manager with the planning and implementation of national marketing campaigns aimed at acquiring new supporters to The Salvation Army, across a wide array of marketing channels.
Play a key role in the planning and delivery of the multi-channel flagship Christmas campaign.
Compile results weekly and circulate to the wider team.
Work with the Communications team to identify compelling case studies to use on marketing activities.
Report directly to the Acquisition Campaign Manager.
Be the leader of all things administrative for the team, ensuring we meet the highest standards.

Excellent organisation skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
A passion and interest in building a career in either marketing or charity fundraising.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
A balance of interest/skill in both creative and analytical aspects of marketing.
An intention to work for an organisation passionate about helping the most vulnerable.
