Based from our plant in Hexham, Northumberland, we have an opportunity to offer a role within our Finance team for a qualified Controlling Specialist. We have a hybrid working policy, with a great company culture and offer fantastic learning and development opportunities, as well as occasional travel to other EGGER plants in Europe.

Your Tasks
- Carry out month end closing procedures
- Prepare monthly and quarterly Local and Group reporting.
- Prepare statistical information and reports as required.
- Analyse monthly performance on a plant, product and customer level.
- Coordinate, prepare and analyse quarterly rolling budgets.
- Calculate, maintain, monitor and review standard costs on an ongoing basis.
- Demonstrate commercial awareness regarding the Company’s products, customers, markets and production processes.
- Proactively identify process improvements.
- Carry out project work as required.

Our Requirements
- Qualified/part qualified AAT or CIMA.
- Experience in the manufacturing sector is preferable.
- Experience of month end reporting or management accounting desirable.
- Experience in SAP is also an advantage.
- Very high standard of IT skills and competent use of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Proactive and self-motivated.
- Strong analytical, communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to prioritise in multitask environment and efficiently approach tasks.
- Attention to accuracy and detail.
- Confident and enthusiastic.
- Efficient approach to tasks.
