Summary

We are looking for a Bank Staff Early Years Play Practitioner to join our team!

Set in the seaside village of Portreath, we are a thriving, committee-run village Pre-school graded as Outstanding by Ofsted. We provide care and education for children aged 2 – 4 years. Portreath Pre-school is a registered Charity and is run by an elected community and parent Committee. Based in the centre of the village, we make the best of our beautiful surroundings. With our children we explore the woods, the park, the beach and cultivate our own allotment growing fruits, vegetables and flowers.

Qualifications and experience:

Level 3 qualified
Minimum 1 years post-qualification experience working in an early years setting
The successful candidate will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check
Further training will be provided where necessary

Salary:

11.44 per hour

Working hours:

Employment is on a casual basis to cover sickness, absence and periods of temporary fluctuation in our child numbers.

Fixed Term Contract until 31 July 2025 initially.
