Working Pattern:
The post is supported by the MOJ flexible working policy and includes colleagues who work flexibly, remotely (as part of hybrid working), part time or as part of a job share etc.
If you are applying for a part time role, please note that in order to meet business demands we need cover for a minimum of 22.12 hours and to cover 3 days of the week.
To meet legal requirements, if you are between the ages 16-18 and you are a successful candidate, you will be required to complete an apprenticeship after your initial on the job training.

Contract Management and Assurance (CMA) work closely with our provider base to ensure the smooth running of our contracts and assure the delivery of legal aid.
Provider Records.
The Provider Records team is a Business-Critical team and an integral part of the Legal Aid Agency. They work closely within Contract Management & Assurance and with all areas of the Legal Aid Agency co-ordinating activity, ensuring all administrative processes are efficient and systems accurately updated in accordance with time standards.
Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:
Ability to analyse provider change requests to identify areas of particular risk.
Responsibility for risk management when updating Provider Records.
Ability to work with agreed SLA’s and turnaround times.
Responsibility for liaising with Contract Manager colleagues and providers (Solicitors & Advocates) to ensure provider records amendment requests are interpreted/applied accurately.
Report progress on activity, including any issues which may impact quality or efficiency to Provider Records Team Leader and update monitoring tools/trackers/spreadsheets.
Conduct Quality Control checks on the work of colleagues within the team and provide feedback in an appropriate manner.
Acknowledge and respond to complaints in writing and, if required, escalate appropriately.
Liaise with IT Service Desk concerning system issues.
Ensure communication with all stakeholders is timely and effective.

Attention to detail when reviewing requests and highlighting possible issues to the team leader.
Proven accuracy when recording information.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
