Summary

There is an exciting opportunity to join our Clinical Engineering team as a Senior Clinical Engineer - Digital Lead who will be working on medical equipment and will have a lot of association with IT relating to Cerner and networking medical devices.

1.To ensure equipment is maintained correctly, ensuring patient safety.

2. To ensure equipment is repaired correctly, on time, first time.

3. Carry out repairs and planned preventative maintenance on equipment as required, in accordance with local policies and OEM recommendations.

4. Carry out Acceptance testing of new equipment and loan equipment.

5. Carry out Electrical safety tests on various medical equipment.

6. Decommission equipment according to the department’s procedures.

7. Prioritise multiple demands, as required.

8. Ensure that Key Performance indicators are met.

9. Liaise with OEMs for external repairs and PPMs.

The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is the only acute Hospital in the London Borough of Hillingdon and offers a wide range of services including accident and emergency, inpatient care, day surgery, outpatient clinics and maternity services. The Trust’s services at Mount Vernon Hospital include routine day surgery, delivered at a modern treatment centre, a minor injuries unit and outpatient clinics.
