Summary

We are looking for enthusiastic Support Workers to join our team in Haywards Heath, West Sussex! No experience is needed just a can-do attitude! We will ensure you receive all the required training to become a valued member of our team.


*£23,800 pro rata, per annum - various shifts available to fit around all schedules

*12.18 per hour

Typical shift times are 07:30 am – 3:00 pm or 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm, and then waking nights 10:00 pm – 07:00 am. Rotas are arranged 4 weeks in advance so you can plan your social life well ahead.



Services also require colleagues to sleep in to ensure the people we are supporting are safe.


What's a sleep-in? ‘Sleep-in shifts’ are those where workers are required to sleep at a residence overnight with the possibility of waking to provide care.


You will receive an enhanced flat rate payment of £61.20 for any sleep-in shifts carried out



Typical duties may include: -Support Workers, Haywards Heath


  • Supporting people to live independently – budgeting, paying bills, housework, arranging appointments and cooking delicious healthy meals.
  • Excellent communication skills and Relationship building – supporting the people we support to be aware of the world around them and promoting positive relationships.
  • Community & Social Inclusion - supporting persons to access and join in their local community and social events to promote life skills and individuality.
  • Personal care - helping people to get ready for the day. This may include prompting the people we support to take their medication and assisting with bathing, showering and using the bathroom. Not all Support Worker roles include high levels of personal care.
