Start Date: ASAP Salary Level: £23,846 - £26,108 (equivalent of £12.36 to £13.53 per hour) pro-rata salary per Academy per yearAnnualised contract – salary equivalent paid monthly across the year What we are looking for: Due to growth within our Trust, we have an exciting opportunity for a Clerk to join our Clerking Team. The successful candidate must have a genuine interest in school governance and be able to work to a highly professional and organised standard. We are looking for someone with a flexible approach to working, who would be willing to work across our clusters if required but based mainly across our Somerset Clusters. This opportunity will support three Primary Schools in Somerset. The hours are 95 per year per school plus an additional 1 x 10hrs for attendance at Central Teams Meetings and Conference. There may be the opportunity to clerk additional schools in the future. The Clerk will need to work effectively with the Chair of the Academy Council, the Academy Principal and other Councillors. The Clerk will ensure the smooth running of the Academy Council meetings: preparing agendas and meeting papers, taking and distributing minutes, giving administrative support, keeping records and up to date information on policies and date of reviews, and providing procedural and legislative advice to the Academy Council. The successful candidates will have excellent organisational, communication and ICT skills.
