Summary


We have an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Nurse/Paramedic Emergency Care Practitioner to join our Swale based Minor Injuries unit, working across Sittingbourne and Sheppey Hospital.

You will work with a supernumerary status throughout your training period to allow for optimal development time and we will work with you to support you into a Band 6 post.

Ideally you will have 2 years post registration experience within Urgent/Emergency care and you will work under the supervision of a Nurse Practitioner/Emergency Care/Paramedic Practitioner.

This role consists of a mixture of clinical and directed learning following completion of the course, OCSE'S will be held. Successful completion of the course will require the expected pass mark to be obtained.

We are happy to consider full time or part time.

You will develop the skills and knowledge to work as an autonomous practitioner in undertaking comprehensive assessment of patients attending with minor injuries and illness, enabling them to make a sound clinical diagnosis , request relevant investigations and therefore provide appropriate and accurate evidence based management plan of their patients.
