Summary
We are very pleased to invite applications for a full time consultant trauma and orthopaedic Surgeon at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust with a subspecialty interest in shoulder and upper limb surgery. The successful candidate may be expected to work across the trusts main sites (Barnet Hospital, Chase Farm Hospital and Royal Free Hospital), but the base site and trauma activity will be on the Barnet Hospital site. This post will join and complement the existing group of orthopaedic surgeons who have a wide range of interests in elective surgery and orthopaedic trauma and aim to expand and develop these services. We are seeking to appoint a trauma and orthopaedic surgeon with a sub specialist interest in shoulder and upper limb surgery. The successful candidate will become part of the 24 consultant orthopaedic surgical team. The on call commitment will be carried out at Barnet Hospital. The majority of the elective work will be carried out on the Chase Farm Hospital site. We hope that the individual will play an active role in helping to expand the upper limb service at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust
