Summary
KPI Recruiting are looking for a Class 2 Tipper driver for one of our clients in the edinburgh area. This is a potential temp to perm position for the right candidate.
As a Class 2 Tipper you will be working 5 out of 7 days per week, with a start time of 06:00.
The successful canddiates for a Class 2 Tipper must have the following;
• Class 2 licence
• A flexible approach to the daily working hours
• Extensive experience of working on on construction and landfill sites
• A good geographical knowledge of Edinburgh and the dentral belt area
• No more than 6 points on your licence
• Aged 25 or above for insurance purposes
• Be able to work on there own intiative once daily jobs have been allocated
• Must have a valid driver/tacho and CPC card
The rate of pay as a Class 2 Tipper is:
• £13ph for the first 8 hours worked each day.
• Time and a half overtime rate (£19.50ph) will be paid after 8 hours each day.
• Saturday work is paid at the time and a half overtime rate. Sunday work is paid at the double time overtime rate (£26ph)
